We believe there is a future for live fan-creator interactions in the Spotify ecosystem however, based on our learnings, it no longer makes sense as a standalone app.

That’s because Spotify Live has been integrated into the main Spotify app, and at least for now, the feature will remain available there for those who want to use it. But that doesn’t mean users will no longer be able to use Spotify for live audio rooms. Back in 2021, Spotify introduced a new app named Greenroom to compete with Clubhouse.
