Clearly, people are enjoying taking to the skies in the series’ revival. This also makes it the biggest launch for the Flight Simulator franchise as a whole. So far, the Microsoft Flight Simulator community has collectively flown over 26 million flights, and have logged in over 1 billion miles flown in total. In a new blog post, Microsoft confirmed that Microsoft Flight Simulatorhas enjoyed the biggest launch for a game on Xbox Game Pass for PC to date, having racked up over 1 million player so far.
It has, in fact, broken several records at launch. As one of the oldest and most celebrated PC franchises, Microsoft Flight Simulator has always had a pretty big fan following, but with its recent release – which turned out to be much better and much more ambitious than most people would have expected – it’s touched new heights.
